On November 8, Manfred Eicher was presented with the Cultural Prize of Lindau, the town where he was born. The award (in the form of an engraved stone from the Lake of Constance), given in recognition of Eicher’s life’s work as music producer, was presented by mayor Gerhard Ecker in a ceremony at Lindau’s old town hall.
