On November 8th the Antelope Valley Rural Museum will be honoring and feeding lunch to our local veterans and active service members. We are looking for your photos, stories, and memorabilia for our extensive Honor Our Vets permanent displays in the AVRM. The exhibits will remain year round to honor our heroes from all eras Civil War to Present. I have seen many posts from my friends on FB and would like you to share your photos and memorabilia with us, especially my friends Jim Rockett, Rick Nolte, Lou Lew Stults, Dennis Barstow, Bob Alvis, Gary Nippert, and many others I know I am missing here. Not just your stuff, but your fathers, siblings, grandfaathers, etc. I want to thank my sister in law Crystal Adams for loaning us the collection of WWI items from her grandfather, including a helmet, gas mask, medals, etc, and her fathers Korean War Navy uniform, ham radio, and much, much more. Please, Please contact me to share. We will scan and reprint any photos you want returned.
