On October 11-13, The Rock International Tribe held a New Beginnings Celebration to relaunch its first church plant, which was started on September 19th, 1999 at the International House of Prayer (same day IHOP went 24/7). God established a church-planting mission base in the inner-city of Kansas City, and gathered a spiritual family to demonstrate the gospel to youth, poor, and unreached people groups. Our name Rock is a word used for Christ in the Bible. It is also an acronym for the Reclaiming Of Christs Kingdom. We moved into an oppressed neighborhood to incarnate Fathers love through family, starting Missional Kingdom Families (micro-churches connected to our local church), micro-businesses, community gardens, food pantry. Crime dropped dramatically and the atmosphere of heaven increased. The living example of this vibrant spiritual family inspired the planting of three other churches in the USA. With new leadership and after a long learning curve and to emphasize a fresh start, we decided to give our church family a new name, Wisdoms House Rock Family. Worship services, under the leadership of pastor Brett Costigan, are held every Sunday at 10 AM (location: 934 Norton Ave, KCMO, 64127). You are all invited!
