On October 20 and 27, the League participated in the Sugar Pine Foundations 6th grade field trip to the Angora Ridge. Over 250 students rotated through four stations including planting sugar pines, fire prevention, CA drought, and erosion control. The League and the Tahoe Regional Planning Agency teamed up to show the 6th graders the best ways to prevent erosion and storm water pollutants. We had a great day speaking to the youth at South Tahoe Middle School.
