On SABC Is this true? I hear that SABC has or will appoint Mr Dali Mpofu in the space of the legendary Vuyo Mbuli on SABC 2 Morning Live News show. If it mattered, I would have loved to have Mr Xolani Gwala to have replaced legend Vuyo Mbuli on the show. My assertion is from this background. The SABC is undergoing or is seeking to transform the industry and like it had been consistent with this process over the years. Leanne is white and she is liberal without now doubt. White’s love her including middle class Africans. Safe to say she represented that community. And my legend Vuyo Mbuli was African. He was not revolutionary but all us Africans who want transformation of this Country could relate to him. The poor and working class loved him. They saw themselves in him. He resembled our culture and carried our aspirations and some saw him as a role model despite his personal shortcomings. And to have Mr Xolani Gwala there alongside Leanne Manas would somehow balance the scales. I dont now have a problem with Mr Dali Tambo but his not my ideal choice in fact his far from my list of people. But like i said before, if our thoughts mattered then the SABC would think carefully about this appointment because we are the TV License payers and the SABC itself is sustained through our taxes. #What do you say?
