On Saturday 14th September Sarah Benktander and Hannah Leahy took part in the National dan grading at High Wycombe In her first contest Sarah threw her opponent for Ippon to get the remaining 10 points she needed for her black belt. A great result, Sarah has been at Pyrford since she was 6 years old and her black belt was long overdue!! Well done Hannah is at the beginning of her dan grade journey and impressively won her first match to pick up her first 10 points but unfortunately had to withdraw from the rest of the event after sustaining an injury. Nonetheless she has made a good start Well done to both
