On Saturday 6 Swiftwater Rescue Technicians travelled to Dublin to provide rescue cover for the Liffey decent 2013. Waterford Marine Search & Rescue who oversaw the safety of all contestants at the Shackletons Weir east of Lucan Village where over 15 participants were rescued including one unconscious. Nonetheless everyone completed the race without serious injury. All photos taken are by Creative Photography.
