On Saturday, November 9, beginning at 9:00am, GVAA baseball will be cleaning up and winterizing the fields. We need the help of any coaches or parents available. The commitment is generally one hour. We need to collect all the L screens in the park, move them to the concession stand and remove/store the netting in the concession stand. We need to clean up all the storage closets at each field and return any equipment in them to the Manor House. The age group coordinator is responsible for their closet cleanout. We need to take down the batting cages, fold and store the nets in the concession stand. We could use 4 10-12 ladders, so if anyone can come with the tallest ladder you have, that would be great! Coaches, we need any equipment bags brought to the field at 9:00am on Saturday so they can be stored in the Manor House. You can simply drop them at the batting cages. Lastly, we need to winterize the concession stand, which includes draining the water lines, amongst other things. So, if we have any plumbers in the organization, we could use your help as well.
