On Saturday, Scouts from all over the area went to the Dayton - TopicsExpress

On Saturday, Scouts from all over the area went to the Dayton National Cemetery. In less than one hour, thousands of grave markers had a flag placed in front of it. As I walked around with boys from my Troop, you could see rows upon rows of graves. Its a humbling experience. When you look at the marker, it shows the persons name, military branch, birth date, date of death and the war the person was involved in. Nowhere on there does it say that the person was white or black, republican or democrat, faithful or atheist. It doesnt matter. What matters is that that person served so that WE could be free. Because of that persons service, We can make the choice to be whatever we want. On this day, I give thanks to the men and women who have chosen to serve our Country.
