On Saturday evening, April 19, 2014 the Coldwater Police Department served a search warrant at 907 N. Elm St in the Village of Coldwater. The warrant was a result of a lengthy investigation into several narcotics violations. The search yielded $675 cash, approximately 60 grams of marijuana, 19 bongs, 2 grinders, 3 measuring scales, and numerous distributing materials. Also recovered from the scene were several unidentified pills, several small packages containing an unknown white powdery substance, and an unknown white powdery substance that had been cut into several lines and was being snorted. Arrested from the residence were Aaron Rutschilling, 18, a single charge of trafficking marijuana within the vicinity of a school (Felony-4). Adam Rutschilling, 22, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. The investigation is ongoing and more charges are expected.
