On Saturday we awoke to overcast skies and cooler temperatures. It wasn’t such a good day for the beach so we spent the day shopping and just being tourists, marveling at how much things have changed in Destin over the years. Another campfire after dinner, and a few roasted marshmallows, topped off the day. Sunday’s weather forecast doesn’t look so good ----- supposedly thunderstorms with possible flooding. What, are we already back in Charleston? It might be a day for watching a couple of movies in the RV, or going someplace to watch a football game or two. Weathermen often predict the worst so that, if they’re wrong, everyone will be happy. We’re keeping fingers crossed…. we prefer being happy.
