On Saturday we were able to provide three families with large totes of produce. We still have quite a variety of produce available. The summer squashes are ending, while the fall and winter squash is ready to harvest. The peppers continue to be large with many turning over to red. This has been a fantastic year for tomatoes. The cherry tomatoes are finally slowing down, while our full size tomatoes are now ready for harvest. Our small fall plantings have sprouted, it will be interesting to see if we can get a meaningful harvest. Work is progressing on the flooring for the main cottage area. One row of underlayment is down and ready for the laminate flooring to be added. Perhaps we will be able to finish this week.
