On September 16, 2014 at approximately 7:18 PM, Mount Union Police observed an individual on Shirley Street, riding a bicycle while drinking a beer. The individual was stopped, and as a result John Miller, 26, Mount Union, was cited for Public Drunkenness. On September 17, 2014 at approximately 6:40 PM, Mount Union Police investigated a report of retail theft from a West Shirley Street business. The stolen merchandise was recovered, unopened, from a 12 year old boy, who was warned about his actions. On September 17, 2014 at approximately 10:54 PM, Mount Union Police responded to a commercial burglary alarm at a West Shirley Street business. The alarm was found to have been activated by a patron exiting the wrong door. On September 18, 2014 at approximately 7:52 AM, Mount Union Police were called to the Mount Union High School for a report of a fight. As a result of the investigation, two 16 year old males received citations for Disorderly Conduct. On September 18, 2014 at approximately 9:09 AM, Mount Union Police assisted the ambulance with an incident on South Division Street. On September 18, 2014 at approximately 1:05 PM, Mount Union Police investigated a report of suspicious activity on East Shirley Street. On September 18, 2014 at approximately 6:35 PM, Mount Union Police assisted the fire company with an incident on East Market Street. On September 18, 2014 at approximately 9:09 PM, Mount Union Police investigated a report of suspicious activity on South Division Street. On September 19, 2014 at approximately 1:43 AM, Mount Union Police investigated a report of harassment on South Division Street. Both parties were warned to cease contact with one another. On September 19, 2014 at approximately 8:00 AM, Mount Union Police investigated a report of harassment on North Industrial Drive. On September 19, 2014 at approximately 9:27 PM, Mount Union Police investigated a report of Criminal Mischief on West Water Street. As a result of the investigation, police filed charges of Criminal Mischief against Tony StClair, Jr, 29, Orbisonia after it was determined that he slashed a tire. On September 20, 2014 at approximately 4:30 AM, Mount Union Police investigated a report of suspicious activity on North Division Street. On September 20, 2014 at approximately 6:14 PM, Mount Union Police investigated a report of a retail theft at an East Shirley Street business. As a result of the investigation, Suzann House, 39, Thompsontown, was cited for Retail Theft. On September 20, 2014 at approximately 9:00 PM, Mount Union Police assisted the fire company with an incident on North Industrial Drive. On September 20, 2014 at approximately 10:10 PM, Mount Union Police investigated a report of open burning on East Milford Street. The fire was determined to be recreational, and fell within the exceptions to the Borough Ordinance. On September 20, 2014 at approximately 11:37 PM, Mount Union Police assisted the Pennsylvania State Police with an incident on High Street. On September 21, 2014 at approximately 12:00 AM, Mount Union Police investigated a report of suspicious activity on South Division Street. On September 21, 2014 at approximately 1:45 AM, Mount Union Police investigated suspicious activity on North Jefferson Street. On September 21, 2014 at approximately 3:32 AM, Mount Union Police investigated a minor motor vehicle crash on North Jefferson Street. It was determined that a 16 year old female operating a Subaru had struck a bollard post protecting the gas pumps at the business, causing minor damage. The juvenile received a citation for driving without a license. On September 22, 2014 at approximately 3:00 PM, Mount Union Police received a cellular telephone that had been found at South Jefferson Street and West Academia Street. Attempts to return the phone to its owner were made. On September 22, 2014 at approximately 3:37 PM, Mount Union Police investigated a reported theft on North Industrial Drive. On September 22, 2014 at approximately 8:08 PM, Mount Union Police investigated a traffic complaint on West Water Street. On September 22, 2014 at approximately 9:53 PM, Mount Union Police investigated a report of harassment on Federal Drive. On September 22, 2014 at approximately 11:04 PM, Mount Union Police assisted the Pennsylvania State Police with an incident on Cromwell Street, Orbisonia. On September 23, 2014 at approximately 11:52 AM, Mount Union Police investigated a report of several juveniles that had left the school without permission. The juveniles were located and returned to their parents. On September 23, 2014 at approximately 12:45 PM, Mount Union Police investigated a report of harassment on Liverpool Street. On September 23, 2014 at approximately 3:35 PM, Mount Union Police assisted the ambulance with an incident on North Drake Street. On September 23, 2014 at approximately 4:51 PM, Mount Union Police assisted the ambulance with an incident on Wrangletown Road. On September 23, 2014 at approximately 5:32 PM, Mount Union Police investigated a two vehicle crash at the intersection of East Shirley Street and North Franklin Street. A Ford truck operated by Nathan Lester, 19, Mapleton Depot, turned in front of a Pontiac sedan operated by Louann Campbell, 24, Mount Union. There were injuries reported in the crash, and both vehicles were towed from the scene. On September 23, 2014 at approximately 6:00 PM, Mount Union Police investigated a report of harassment on West Shirley Street.
