On September 20, 2014, Becky Broussard brought Lily Dog over to my house to see if she would be a good fit for our pack. Those of you who know me know how much I love my dogs, and I thought, since Prin is 13.5 and Sugarbear is a young 4 years old, how great would it be for SB to have his own dog to play with. I had my reservations, having met LD and thinking she was quite a handful, but Becky was on board with us having a trial run to see if we were a good fit. Tomorrow will be two full months we have her and I have to say, I am smitten! I absolutely love, love, love this girl! She is full of energy, funny, rambunctious, playful, sweet, and has given Sugarbear a new lease on life! Sheesh, Elvis toys have been sitting on the floor in a basket for several years now...Sugar had no idea what to do with them, poor thing, with his background of being chained to a tree...first day LD was here, BAM! All the toys were out of the basket and strewn around the house. Shes got SB playing with them, too! And man, youve seen the videos - I dont have to tell you how much fun they have playing together! Yes, shes loud! Yes, shes exhuberant! Shes ebullient, buoyant, cheerful, jaunty, lighthearted, high-spirited, exhilarated, excited, elated, exultant, euphoric, joyful, cheery, merry, jubilant, vivacious, enthusiastic, irrepressible, energetic, and animated...and most of all, shes OURS!!!! Yahoo!!! I would be remiss if I didnt thank Pam Torre, who realized that LD was not the fit for her family. We are thrilled shes now part of ours!!!!
