On September 25th, 2014, Sheriff R. Glenn Smith’s Special Operations Division conducted a controlled delivery of Codeine in the 200 Block of Clark Road, in Prairie View, TX. Investigators intercepted a package containing approximately two and a half gallons of liquid codeine with the delivery address and name styled to the suspect Kyron Jackson, a 37 year old male, who lives in the City of Prairie View, TX. Jackson accepted delivery of the package when undercover investigators delivered it to his residence. Investigators then executed a search warrant at Jackson’s residence where additional amounts of Codeine and Marijuana were found in his bedroom. Jackson was arrested by Waller County SWAT team members for felony Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to deliver and transported to the Waller County Jail. This is the second successful operation conducted by the Special Operations Division this week. Special credit is given to Waller County residents who do not accept drug dealing in their communities and report illegal activity to law enforcement. Additional Law Enforcement agencies involved in this operation include: Texas Department of Public Safety, Waller County District Attorney’s Office, Prairie View Police Department and Brookshire Police Department.
