On Sunday, August 25th, the North Central Wisconsin Stormwater - TopicsExpress

On Sunday, August 25th, the North Central Wisconsin Stormwater Coalition and the University of Wisconsin-Extension will be on hand at the Farmers Market between 11:00 a.m. and 1 p.m. to host a rain barrel building workshop. Register to learn how a rain barrel can help conserve water and keep our lakes & streams clean. Rain barrels are used to collect rain that drains from your roof and runs down the gutters. A quarter-inch of rain falling on the average home yields a little over 200 gallons of water, and can fill a barrel in a matter of minutes. This water can then be used to water plants and gardens. At the end of the workshop you will be able to build a rain barrel to take home. To register send a $30 check made out to “North Central Wisconsin Stormwater Coalition or (NCWSC)” to Kronenwetter Rain Barrel Workshop, 1582 Kronenwetter Drive, Kronenwetter, WI 54455.
