On Sunday, September 14, 2014 a parade was held to celebrate The 40th Anniversary of P.A.W.S. The route of this parade was from the new Central Middle School to near where the old Central School stood. Along the way thousands of people cheered the marches on. For many of us in The Tinley Park Historical Society who participated in this it was also a march down memory lane. Many of the old buildings along the way are forever gone though living in our memories and of course old photos. Take this stroll and remember that we are heading north from 18146 Oak Park to just south of the creek and passing some buildings (and memories) that are still here. Enjoy the trip...
