On Sunday, September 29, 2013, from 11am to 2pm children ages four to twelve and their parents are invited to a reading of Karen Matthews’ new children’s book, “The Legend of Lizard Lick: A North Carolina Folktale” at NoFo @ The Pig Cafe and Gift Shop. located in the old Piggly Wiggly grocery store in Five Points neighborhood of Raleigh. The book is available for sale at NoFo. The author will sign any books purchased at the event, and she will be giving away free coloring pages to the kids. Prizes will be given away to the person who comes from the farthest away, the person who comes from a place closest to Lizard Lick, and to the youngest and oldest people attending the event.
