On Sunday, September 29th, the PRIDE foundation in partnership with Garnier beauty products and Oyster Bay Hotel staff and management will be hosting a lagoon cleanup. This event is open to the public, so students are welcome to attend and gain extra community service hours. This is event is the last for the 2013 International Coastal Cleanup. LOCATION: Oyster Bay Resort Time: 7am-9am Please be inside the Oyster Bay Resort at 7am, a small briefing will take place as well as cleanup tools will be handed out. Cleanup will end at 9am, after which the Oyster Bay Resort will offer a breakfast to volunteers in attendance. Please be on time, as we noticed that at the La Belle Creole coastal cleanup, some students arrived more than an hour late.
