On Sunday the 31st of August, our party goes to the polls once again to elect who leads us into 2016. Seven persons have put themselves out there for delegates to decide and elect who becomes our flag bearer, who is best to lead us into 2016. Delegates will be given the opportunity to choose between competence, experience, commitment, selfless service, popularity on one hand and those who just seek an opportunity to experiment their popularity. Among these 7 people, one man stands out, he is Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo. Several years of experience and expertise, dedicated and selfless service to the party and Ghana, has travelled and covered Ghana than all the other 6, and he is undoubtedly a household name across the country. Nana is most certainly our surest bet to power. There are people who have joined this race to test their popularity, others are there to experiment and there are those who are only here so they do not lose their relevance in the party, but, 2016 is no time for such tests and experimentations, it is a time to wrestle power from our opponents. It is a time for victory. We are dealing with a formidable incumbent, and it will be suicidal to experiment with any other person especially those whose faces have never appeared on the ballot paper of any national elections. We cannot afford to take chances, this is no time for experiments, we must win 2016 in all ways possible and in Nana Addo lies our greatest opportunity. A successful lawyer, a businessman, a diplomat and a former legislator, Nana Addo brings with him vast experience and expertise to not only win us power, but together with Dr. Bawumia transform our economy. Popularity among electorates is a major factor in winning any election and none of the other aspirants can match Nanas enviable credentials and popularity. Nanas incorruptible character spanning years if public and private service, and his stern belief in the rule of law, sets him worlds apart from his competitors and this is a major attribute requisite in a leader to help the nation fight the numerous waste as a result of corruption in government. On Sunday, it will be quiet important that we all speak with one voice, by giving Nana Addo an emphatic victory to send a clear message to our opponents and the whole world that the party is united behind its candidate. We need to go into 2016 with a formidable and united front, and the message that you send out on Sunday as delegates will go a long way in affirming this. This message should and must be a resounding victory for Nana Addo. I am a delegate, and I know it is imperative and incumbent upon me to ensure I send a clear message to our opponents, that our party is stronger more than ever, I am a delegate and Ill be rewarding unflinching loyalty, selfless service, uncompromising commitment and sacrifice to our party and Ghana.
