On This Day Almost 150 years ago: November 8, 1866 John Fulton Jr. married Hulda Turney. Both the Fulton and Turney families were pioneer families in the Bremen area instrumental in building the strong foundations of what is now Tinley Park. John and Huldas direct descendants continued to be prominent members of the Tinley Park community throughout the years. The photo below is of the couple on their 50th wedding anniversary at a party held in thier honor. Standing behind them are their three surviving children at the time (left to right) Minnie Fulton Teske, Bertrand Fulton, Luella Fulton Rogers. In January 2014 we had the honor of being able to tour and photograph the Fulto home that still stands as a historical site at 16800 Oak Park Ave, Tinley Park, Il, And of course we had our picture taken in the same bay window the Fulton Anniversary photo was taken!
