Thus proving Thors theory that it had been possible for early South American natives to have sailed to the island in the Pacific and that proved how South American objects had been found there 1574 Robert Dudley English explorer and cartographer was born (Born the illegitimate son of Robert Dudley first Earl of Leicester. After failing to establish his legitimacy in court he went to Tuscany to work for the Grand Duke as an engineer and ship builder. he also wrote and published the Dell Arcano del Mare the first ever maritime map to cover the whole world) 1834 Joseph Marie-Jacquard French weaver died. He played an important part in the development in the invention of the programmable loom or Jacquard Loom as it became known. The loom could by the use of punched card produce pictures and patterns in the cloth. The same system was used in early computers and other programmable devices)
