In Patna, an entire session was devoted to discuss the issue and the matter was deferred for next meeting without any decision for holding any early meeting. The matter was again racked up by a few through a vicious campaign carried out through mails. The twist given by you and your friends (Sic) was that the AIB was against the regional parity and the AIB was trying to shield certain individuals or some particular units. It is really surprising that you are unable to understand that the regional disparities would automatically be removed if we get parity with other common entry counterparts. The demand for removal of regional disparities regarding promotions to group A will merely dilute our issue of parity with other counterparts. Kindly don’t create confusion among the cadre to serve your own purposes. As a matter of fact I at times wonder as to your actual contributions to the cadre. In fact it is felt that you are an expert gossip monger indulging in storytelling. You have always been indulging in shifting your goal posts to suit your evils designs. Initially you were severally critical of the Pune Unit and Mr Pandit. Now, you adore them as though Mr Pandit is your God (Pune unit kindly look over your shoulders as to the kind of company you keep). Isn’t it a fact that Mr. Pandit & Co. spoiled the Supreme Court case by going in for contempt? What do you want to prove by your lengthy and irrelevant mails? You may be having sufficient time to express your ideology but kindly don’t waste others precious time particularly the time of AIB. You criticize the AIB and sometimes some other person from Mumbai does this. Your Mumbai colleague sends malicious mails to SG and you prefer to remain silent, thereby giving the impression that you are working in a tandem. I would like to have a clarification from you here. Do you think that if we/CBEC make a proposal for our welfare isn’t it finalized by someone other departments at Delhi? If we think the same will be finalized as such it is totally wrong. It has neither happened in the past not it will happen in the future. The restructuring proposal has been finalized and the AIB has managed to get a good number of posts created by the Govt in the impeding CR. You are well aware of that some of our colleagues used their personal sources to get it cleared. Our colleagues have been working very hard to get the CR cleared by keeping a watch on it at every level, right from the lowest level to the level of Cabinet secretary level. I feel we should welcome this as the superintendents who are at the verge of retirement would go with a tag of IRS. It does not mean that we get satisfied with this. Seeing the condition of the government “SAMAY & SAMAJH” demand from all of us that we should welcome whatever we are getting and we must strive to get the remaining. Your enthusiasm as exhibited on occasions is welcomeed but this time we do not agree with you. It is my suggestion that you must rethink over your actions, language, program which you make at this critical time and so on. Now coming to the agitation program. Has Mumbai made any contributions in the recent past? You promised to come to Delhi at least with 50 officers, where were they at the time of action? Now you are alleging inaction on the part of AIB. Let’s do some introspection. As a matter of fact many a units even failed to serve notice to their respective zonal heads during the boycott movement called as recently as March 2013. Do you know that temporary posts are never abolished once created? Kindly give a concrete proposal to AIB. You should in fact be asking all the units to reveal their contributions made for the CR and also reveal your own efforts? At this crucial juncture it is felt that we should be conserving our efforts to gear up for the tasks ahead and stop indulging in bickering amongst ourselves. Regional parity will automatically flow when the parity with our counter parts i.e. Examiners, gets finalized. At the end I would like to suggest all the members of our cadre complete the formalities regarding the promotions created due to cadre restructuring. We should not give any chance to the board to point out that the delay in promotion has been caused due to non compliance of the instructions of the board regarding ACRs of all the zone must reach in the HRD after completion of needful. Let’s remember that the future will judge us on our actions of the day. Kindly remember that those who forget history are condemned to repeat it. Kindly learn from our past mistakes and not let the future generations condemn us as we do our predecessors. The future beckons us.
