On Thursday, August 7s lesson Die to Self Every Day absg.adventist.org/2014/3Q/SE/PDFs/EAQ314_06.pdf All that we have, and all that we are belongs to God. In light of that fact, what is so complicated about us denying ourselves daily and following Him? Even as I type this so simply, it occurs to me just how much selfishness has destroyed humanity. That which we must relinquish in order to follow Christ is so tiny, even in our tiny little societies, much less in the universal scheme of things. Has not God been faithful to us even with our trials and difficulties? Did He not put all on the line in order to save us? ***What would help the average person get the memo that denying self for Christ today makes way for the unimaginable reward of tomorrow?*** Please share your thoughts.--L.
