On Thursday, March 17 2014 I set off on a very long journey at 7:00 am from Maryland driving back to Dallas, TX. I was scared and I told God that ... I am not driving alone unless Your presence goes with me. Mind you, I had no GPS on my phone. I was forced to print off my driving route from start to finish. This was indeed a miracle and I had to just trust that God will not get me lost! I had not driven the car for more than 1 1/2 years as I had been in Kenya. This was another miracle too! It was still snowing in a few spots when I got to the State of Virginia but there was no stopping this child of God. I had been away from my home in Dallas, TX when God Himself took me to Washington, DC/Maryland/Virginia to work for the plight of homeless Americans and in Kenya for orphans and widows. My time was up in the DMV States and I had completed my assignment. I was anxious to get back to my very busy life and the open heavens of Texas. I arrived in Tennessee at 7:00 pm Eastern time and spent the night at my aunt and uncles house. I had a restless night as I was anxious to continue with my journey. I got up at 3:00 am with every intention of leaving TN for TX at 4:00 am; but decided to wait until my relatives woke up. I said my prayers and thanked God for taking me half way through the drive. I had covered about 800 miles. I had another 700 miles to go. Gosh! VA and TN are such huge states. I spent the long drive worshiping God and talking to Him. I was amazed that God had takenb me back home to Dallas, TX with no GPS and true to His word, I NEVER got lost yet I had no GPS! I am now a proven long-distance driver. I never thought that I could accomplish such a long drive for at times I was still fearful after 2 near-fatal auto accidents. I broke my neck after the 1st accident in Atlanta, GA. I had to go back on the road soon after I recovered from the 1st accident for I had to overcome the fear of cars and of the road and I had to trust that the same God who stretched out His right hand to shield me during both accidents was always going to be with me. Psalms 138:7. I completed the 27 hour long drive that crossed MD, VA, TN, AR, and TX that covered 1,500 miles. Though I drove alone, My God was right there with me. My hands were shaking from holding the steering wheel for so long. My whole body ached; but I was so in awe of God. We did it! 7 months later; I am loving being back home where I belong and continuing to be busy for the Kingdom. I am waiting to see what else God is up to. Wont you trust Him also ... and let Him be the navigator and the driver of your life. ALL that He has promised to You; shall indeed come to pass! We have witnessed His promises coming to pass! youtube/watch?v=kQAwpMFS_9o
