On Thursday, May 15, 2014, NCDOT will implement a seasonal speed limit reduction in the North end of Duck. The speed limit on Duck Road (NC 12) will change from 45 MPH to 35 MPH starting at Sandy Ridge Road continuing north to the town line. As the number of people on the road increases, please remember to share the road, be attentive when turning, and yield to people at crosswalks. More safety tips are available at watchformenc.org.
