On Thursday, my son (wholl be 13 on Wednesday) came in second in the 4 X 400 and first in the 4 X 100 with his track teammates at the finals. Friday and Saturday, my 11 year old daughter was an Oompa Loompa in the all-school musical Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, and my 18 year old worked on the tech team. Yesterday, my husband drove my 9 year old son to a speech meet an hour away where he came in 4th (out of more than 30 kids!) for his presentation of The Lion and the Mouse. And now today, my 11 year old daughter has try-outs for the Softball All-Star team. All this ... and I edited the first 67 pages of COMPULSION. Its going to be a busy week.
