On Thursday night, all the jokes and wouldnt it be funny if..... turned into reality, as two of my beautiful friends - also friends with each other - had their babies born within half an hour of each other! They were even meant to be birthing at the same hospital so as I answered the second call after baby 1 was born, I responded sure, Ill meet you here when you get in, Im already here!. Baby 2 however had other plans, and decided he wanted to be born at home in a huge hurry! So I stopped by on my way home (how awesome that there was no rush to call an ambulance or panic or transfer, because the mum had employed a private midwife so they just stayed home!) to photograph some of his first hours. Seriously what a crazy night/week! Im so proud of my friends and their awesome birthing power, and so happy to see their families grow :) Here are the 2 beautiful baby boys!
