On Transformed in our Financial Health in our series tomorrow. What does the Bible say about our finances? Join us as we dig into this tomorrow at 11am! Also we are celebrating baptism with several people during the service! Romans 11:36 (NLT) 36 For everything comes from him and exists by his power and is intended for his glory. All glory to him forever! Amen. Deuteronomy 8:18a (NIV) 18 But remember the Lord your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth Proverbs 27:23-24 (NLT) 23 Know the state of your flocks, and put your heart into caring for your herds, 24 for riches don’t last forever, and the crown might not be passed to the next generation. Deuteronomy 14:23 (TLB) 23 Bring this tithe to eat before the Lord your God at the place he shall choose as his sanctuary; this applies to your tithes of grain, new wine, olive oil, and the firstborn of your flocks and herds. The purpose of tithing is to teach you always to put God first in your lives. Proverbs 3:9-10 (NLT) 9 Honor the Lord with your wealth and with the best part of everything you produce. 10 Then he will fill your barns with grain, and your vats will overflow with good wine. Proverbs 21:20 (NLT) 20 The wise have wealth and luxury, but fools spend whatever they get. Proverbs 13:11 (NLT) 11 Wealth from get-rich-quick schemes quickly disappears; wealth from hard work grows over time. Proverbs 24:27 (NLT) 27 Do your planning and prepare your fields before building your house. Proverbs 3:27 (NLT) 27 Do not withhold good from those who deserve it when it’s in your power to help them. Romans 13:8 (NLT) 8 Owe nothing to anyone—except for your obligation to love one another. If you love your neighbor, you will fulfill the requirements of God’s law. Proverbs 21:5 (NLT) 5 Good planning and hard work lead to prosperity, but hasty shortcuts lead to poverty. 1 Timothy 6:6 (NLT) 6 Yet true godliness with contentment is itself great wealth. Ecclesiastes 6:9 (NLT) 9 Enjoy what you have rather than desiring what you don’t have. Just dreaming about nice things is meaningless—like chasing the wind. Hebrews 13:5 (NLT) 5 Don’t love money; be satisfied with what you have. For God has said, “I will never fail you. I will never abandon you.” Matthew 6:31-33 (NLT) 31 “So don’t worry about these things, saying, ‘What will we eat? What will we drink? What will we wear?’ 32 These things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers, but your heavenly Father already knows all your needs. 33 Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.
