On Tuesday, December 2nd sixth and seventh grade Knowledge Bowl participants were offered the opportunity to go to Success Beyond the Classroom that puts on an annual Creativity Festival at the Science Museum in St. Paul. There students were able to take twelve different STEM and creative thinking classes where each classroom had a different topic such as Brazilian Martial Arts (capoeira), Buzz on Bees, Logo Design, Squid Dissection, Three-Dimensional Books, and Hawaiian Cowboys. Kids were able to select three classes to go to throughout the day as well as exploration of the science museum. This is the second year the middle school has attended. Students brought many pictures, videos, the work they created in classes, and had excellent feedback about what they experienced and learned.
