On Tuesday during the day, Erev Chanuka, Yeshivat HaRaayon HaYehudi held a marathon learning session with various excellent speakers, and of course, all the Chanuka goodies to eat. But we got a late start. When I arrived there, someone walking towards me tipped me off that the police had raided the Yeshiva and broke the door. I hesitated to go in, just walking past the Yeshiva, and warned people coming to attend the learning about the police presence there. The group of us went in while the police were still there, and the cops went down to check out the Yeshivas computers. Thank G-d they didnt interfere with the learning. The cops are trying to make a direct connection between the anti-assimilation legal organization, Lehava, some of whose members were arrested the night before, and the Yeshiva. Well, it seems that the Yeshiva is not the only victim of police strongarm invasion tactics.
