On Tuesday night, one of of our three foster kittens, Ash, managed - TopicsExpress

On Tuesday night, one of of our three foster kittens, Ash, managed to nibble through my laptop cord while I was sitting right next to him. He was out of my line of sight. Ash was electrocuted. I was able to make the last ferry to Tacoma by mere minutes and get him to the emergency vet there. Despite being burned and having lungs full of fluid, he fought to make it. Late yesterday, he passed away despite a valiant battle. VIPP generously approved heroic measures to give Ash a fighting chance. We were due to formally adopt him on Saturday. The cost for Ashs fight for life is significant. I dont want VIPP to ever have to hesitate to give an animal a chance. My children and I are going to be coordinating a lemonade stand fundraiser in the next few weeks, but in the meantime, $1, $5, or $10 would mean so much to the life of an animal in VIPPs care. We are going to do whatever we can over the next few months to personally repay VIPP, but as I said, we dont want cost to ever be an issue in the saving of a small life. Despite the trauma, my children have learned through VIPPs generosity that where there is life, there is hope. Thanks for reading. vipp.org/support
