On Tuesday night our miracle baby the love bug Herbie left this world... The first day we met Herbie he died on the surgery table at Jens work. Jen was able to pop him out and get him back although the incident showed larger issues with Herbie. The Rescue Herbie was under not having funds or being a medical group chose to put Herbie down in lou of further testing. That is when we adopted Herbie on the spot. After further testing Herbie was given 2-6 weeks to live due to a very large Ventricular Septal Defect. Our over the top loving boy had a hole in his heart... Herbie proved some of the best vets wrong living a happy healthy 6 years to everyones amazement! Herbie is part of our inspiration for the special needs kids and their amazing spirit to overcome any obstacle life can throw at them. Herbie was the most loving boy and was always the first to welcome the new kid, be that cat, dog or human. Herbie was a cat, a rescue, a miracle, a brother, a family member but most importantly he was a dear friend.
