On Tuesdays we pray for Jason Kent and all families who have a loved one incarcerated. We pray especially today as we realize there will be an empty place at many tables and parents and inmates wishing that wasnt the way their holiday would be. There are many broken-hearted parents who are missing the normal joys of life with their family because of incarceration. Please send protection, help, wisdom and healing for these families and their loved ones in Jesus name. Please be with the parents as they process their pain, making changes to their lives as this situation looms before them. Give them extra grace this Thanksgiving Day. I thank you for the parents like Carol and Gene and many of our own special sisters among us, (Im praying for you Dawn, Shonda and many others in our group and The Addicts Mom groups who have shared their pain) who pay their hurt forward by speaking out and helping others.
