On Twitter a post recently was spread with some wrong info, first off all Emei 12 Zhuang has a very Clear and pure History in China of close to 800 years and is not the same as the Emeiquan the Author is describing on the below attached Photos of a page of his book. From the 12 Zhuang the 10th set the Xiao Zi Zhuang is the set that got infused into the single set SLT before the set later got split into 3 around the time of the Tai Ping uprising . The very Clear DNA of the Xiao Zi Zhuang can be found in all the lineages coming down from the single set SLT of which we have the complete original Kuit from Yik Kam the red boat opera actor and which is again Verified by the current lineage holder GM Fu WeI Zhong to have a huge piece of original Emei 12 Zhuang Kuit in it (photos attached below) I suggest the people to look at the Emei 12 Zhuang 10th set the Xiao Zhi Zhuang and then compare it to the second section of the old SLT set of Yik Kam, The Law family SLT, The Yuen Kay San family SLT and even the late GM Ip Man SLT he taught in Fatsan (Foshan) to the Author of this i have to say that yes the EmeiQuan he writes about has more to do with modern Wu Shu and nothing with the Emei 12 Zhuang which again has a history of about 800 years in China The gate keeper and 13th lineage holder of emei 12 zhuang GM Fu Wei Zhong was even willing to sign his name on the Kuit corresponding to the long single set SLT can the author come up with similar weight for his assumptions,pictures of this historic day can be found below attached with the Authors page of his book i will include also some video links and links for people who have the time to delve more deep into this emeiqigong.us/ https://youtube/watch?v=MCCkc5UNZqk https://youtube/watch?v=zVDAQusy944 https://m.youtube/watch?v=_W2087pVT7s although i give the Author credit for the association he build in europe and the hard work he has done to put Wing Chun in the limelight i will not let him touch decades of research of very respectable Sifus who like me really went to China and did the on field research and gathered the facts very respectable people like Sifu Jim Roselando,Sifu Robert Chu,Sifu Hendrik Santo.
