On Veteran’s Day, I am sure some will argue; “why celebrate war and all of is gory glory?” While some societies in history relished war and are termed “warlike”, we Americans do not relished and hope for war, rather, we understand the realities of humanity. We are willing to defend and if war comes stand in the gap to preserve OUR way of LIFE!!!. The cost of preserve this WAY and this LIFE has come at a terrible cost. No mother or father bears a child hoping they go off and die in a foreign land. But thank God there are still families who do bear children who are willing to stand—to do their duty—to freely give so much of themselves so that no SOB will ever take an eraser and wipe out OUR NAME off the “whiteboard” of nations. Since I have been deployed to Afghanistan 45 US and coalition soldiers have died in various hostile and non-hostile events.
