On Wed, Nov 19, the FL-DOE will review proposed updates to 6A-6.03023 (Exceptional Student Education Eligibility for Students With Autism Spectrum Disorder) to align with DSM5. Definitions, procedures for referral, procedures for student evaluation and criteria for eligibility will all be addressed. Significant changes to evaluation procedures are outlined.
