On Wednesday, August 6s lesson Prayer absg.adventist.org/2014/3Q/SE/PDFs/EAQ314_06.pdf Regardless of religious persuasion or lack thereof, there is scarcely a person in most of the civilized world who has not heard of the Lords Prayer. There is so much we can learn from it. As such, Jesus said in response to the disciples request for instruction on how to pray, “After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.” (Matthew 6:9–13, KJV 1900). ***What about this prayer impresses you most?*** I particularly like the fact that the Most High delights in being endearingly called, Our Father. Being from a broken home, I cannot overstate the value of having a stable, loving father. Our heavenly Father is always attentive to our needs and desires. He is always available without an appointment, to hear our thoughts and dreams. And, most of all, He is ever loving and there to walk with us through every step of our journey, if we will have Him. What say you? Please share your thoughts.--L. David Harris
