On Wednesday December 3rd I discussed with Congressman Brady in his Washington DC office the need to defund the Presidents unlawful amnesty as addressed in a letter that I presented to him and 100 copies of the same letter to other offices of Congress on Capitol Hill. I also reminded Congressman Brady that as Congress takes up the business of the Continuing Resolution, starting on Monday the 8th, (funding of the Government) this week, that it should be a short term CR that would fund our federal government just long enough until the new members of Congress take office in January. I called two days later after returning home to see what Mr. Brady has decided concerning the CR and nothing has changed since my visit. A staff member (Jason) indicated that Congressman Brady is still reviewing the options. My response to him remains the same and that is that any package of funding the federal government any further than on a short term bases will allow the whole matter of this President’s unlawful order, supporting his self appointment as a dictator and tyranical agenda to get lost in the shuffle of government business. If you live in the 8th U.S. Congressional District of Texas you need to call Congressman Brady today and let him know that they must defund amnesty at every turn by pulling in the strings on the Purse. Second, let him know that the CR (Continuing Resolution) should only cover all our government expenses on a short term bases (only until January 2015) minus any appropriations that would fund the President’s tyrannical decision on amnesty. Every American that reads this post should contact their Representatives and remind them we Voted on stopping the Presidents unlawful Amnesty just a month ago and many Representatives ran on the ticket of stopping him on this issue.
