On Wednesday January 21st , 2014 the Auburn Police Division arrested Garrett P. Nixon, 23 years old, Jacob D. Lewis, 22 years old, and Timothy R. Faircloth. Nixon and Lewis reside in Opelika, Alabama, and Faircloth resides in Sparks, Georgia. Each arrested on felony warrants charging them with Unlawful Breaking and Entering a Vehicle and Theft of Property Third Degree. On January 21st, 2015 Auburn Police responded to the 800 block of Oakdale Drive in reference to a complaint of a suspicious vehicle in the neighborhood. Officers contacted the vehicle shortly after. Nixon, Lewis, and Faircloth were occupants of the vehicle. During the traffic stop, property that was stolen from vehicles in 1100 block of Water Oak Circle and the 2400 block of Glenn Brooke Drive was discovered. Nixon was also in possession of property which was stolen from a vehicle in the 700 block of Karlee Court, in December, 2014. Nixon was additionally charged with Unlawful Breaking and Entering a Vehicle, Attempted Theft of Property 1st Degree, and Theft of Property 2nd Degree in relation to that incident. Property stolen from an auto burglary which occurred in Opelika, Alabama was also recovered. Additional charges are expected. Nixon, Faircloth, and Lewis were transported to the Lee County Jail. Nixon will be eligible for a $19,000 bond. Faircloth will be eligible for a $8,000 bond. Lewis will be eligible for a $8,000 bond.
