On Wednesday we will have the threat of severe weather as a strong low pressure system and associated cold front trigger thunderstorms across the area. Damaging winds would be the primary threat with severe weather. There will also be a greater concern for heavy rains and flooding during the time. The Storm Prediction Center has outlined the region in a slight risk with enhanced threat just to the north.
