On a day like this, most persons may just want to focus on only one celebration. May 11, 2014 is referred to as (1) Eat What You Want Day. You may choose to push your diet aside but please, do not risk your health. Remember your carbs/calories, allergies and medical conditions. (2) It is also Twilight Zone Day. This day permeates mysterious, weird, surreal and scary activities. The series on television was created and narrated by Rod Sterling in 1959. It stretches our imagination. (3) It is Mothers Day. We should never forget our mothers. They may not have been the best all the time but to carry us for 7/9 months is a difficult task! Let us remember them ........send cards, flowers, candies, gifts,money.......visit them, telephone them, skype them.........even if they have passed on visit their grave. Thanks to our mothers......biological or foster mothers, grand/ great-grand mothers, mothers-in-law, step mothers, big sisters, female cousins, god mothers, good female neighbours, female co-workers, female friends.......the list is very long. We also think of the fathers/males who had to play various roles. Happy Mothers Day!
