On a mad impulse, I dug around my costume closet and put together this look for my character Miriam Passman and shot this Youtube video with my friend Katherine Carr. Miriam, a desperate cabaret habitué, has been a staple of my act for years. Indeed, she was the inspiration for the character of Marjorie Taub in my play The Tale of the Allergists Wife. I owe her a lot. Im premiering a new Miriam Passman piece (not this one) in my new cabaret act which will be at 54 Below this Wed -Sat, July 9-12th. 54 Below.
