On a microscopic level, there are microscopic moments where the reality that comes is SO different from what we expected; this is called shock Shock not only describes a situation where the world is overwhelming, but also a situation where the world is ignored and denied as a part of the inaction and paralysis of shock An easy out for the mind engaged with shock is to just agree with what was expected, instead of actual reality. This post, at this point, should have you in a subtle feeling of shock... ... because it is these moments that create a confusion that strains negative emotion... because it is from these moments which ugly faces are allowed... all the malicious action... all the mutually-slow suicide instead of a standard that will sacrifice whatever to live a better life... because of this shock... because of this brittle frozen state... because of this filth that floods already saturated soil... because shields take longer to build than tidal waves... because civilization paints the image of nature being civilized... because false pictures bring false conclusions... because recognizing the flood that surrounds you does not mean you can remove the flood with ease... and because even knowing about the flood doesnt prevent one from frequently pretending to be un-flooded, unlike the flooded deer-in-headlights... -------------------- ... because the personality of a human struggles to come out when they look like a deer...
