On a non-photography related note: I think we need to revisit our holiday placement. Halloween is October 31 and less than a month away is Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving ends and then its Christmas, not 4 weeks later. And then, only 7 days later is New Years. Halloween turns to Thanksgiving turns to Christmas turns to New Years and then January rolls around and nothin. I mean, nothin. Sure, youve got Valentines Day in February and St. Patricks Day in March, and I am the last person to turn her nose up at chocolate and corned beef, but lets face it- they lack the excitement of those other holidays. I for one, think the first three months of the new year need to be livened up! I mean, whats the rush? Why cram Halloween through New Years into two months? Lets spread the holidays apart. I would love to see Thanksgiving in December and then a break. We could move Christmas to the beginning of February, and give it some space so it doesnt get all up into Thanksgivings biz-ness. I dont know who I need to talk to about this. xoxo
