On a positive note Lachlan has had a good day today and woke up sparky by his standards. I grab these days so put him in the car and took him out for a round of golf at Middle Ridge Golf Course. He enjoyed it and seeing him engaged, active and happy makes my day. He has slept this afternoon of course as what for normal people is easily achieved is a big deal for Lachlan and exhausts him. Another positive note is that we have two days of post surgery follow up and testing including MRI. sleep deprived EEG, Endocrinology, Paediatric Neurology Review in Brisbane on the 9th and 10th of Feb. I just now have to try to get into Ronald Mc House and do all the PTSS paperwork and organisation to achieve that. I like staying there as if he has a seizure help is nearby. We should have frequent flyer points at Ronald Mc Houses. TThey are a wonderful organisation and worth supporting. The paperwork with Lachlan Inc never ends!!. I described running Lachlan Inc. to a couple of doctors recently in this way. Imagine a funnel and around the top edge of the funnel are probably 100 odd people in medical roles, health agency roles, neuro psychologists, social workers, disability people, carers, doctors in multiple disciplines like Endocronology, Psychology, Neurology, Paediatrics, etc etc etc. all these people work in systems with support and funnel down to guess who ....me who has no secretary does not get weekends off and in three and a half years has had 1 week off from her caring role despite being in hospitals on 54 occasions for at times months at a time. I am the the nurse, the carer, the advocate, the drug orderer, the medical receptionist etc etc etc. No wonder I feel exhausted at times. I am organised because of my previous life but man it is hard at times. That is why breaks are so important. One of the things on my to do list is to see how Lachlans mental health Treatment Plan is coming along. You may recall we got a pretty poor one before Christmas and I was working to get a meaningful one in place. I need to follow this up to see if anything has come out of the end of the sausage machin
