On a very enjoyable radio interview last night, the host asked me why I thought more people didnt bother to look into conspiracies and history. I think my answer surprised him: Because were not built for it. Were a relatively simple and straightforward, food-gathering, story-telling animal species. We lived in a world of uncomplicated needs - water, food, shelter. The idea of vast, layered, corporate, military and pharmaceutical lies and conspiracies doesnt appeal to the majority of us because we still see the world through our historical lens: a simple, straightforward place in which we gather food and spend time with friends. Of course, we gather food at the supermarket, and spend time with our most important friend, the computer. (A slow-motion disaster, if you really understand it.) Heres a song to calm us down. https://youtube/watch?v=uN4JAsdRgGc
