On another note--when it comes to strength training deadlifts are BY FAR the truest test of a mans strength-- Reason being is deadlifts START from a cocentric state--there is no stretch reflex-- With both squats and bench you can build momentum on the downward motion wich helps with the lift, wheras deads start from a DEAD STOP-- Both the world squat and world benchpress records have increased by 500 lbs in the last 25 yrs--the world dealift record has only increased by 150--- Theres a reason for that. Theres LOADS of SCIENTIFIC studies that backup what im saying--in fact i think ill post a few-- Ps--if u think im biased, this is coming from a guy who has benched 395 on multiple occasions in the past--ive also squatted 500z--im not biased, i just know the lifts that matter Deadlifts--the true test of a weightlifters manliness--
