On another note while im throwing shit out there. I have known for almost a month now and have kept it hush hush for the most part. Primarily because i am absolutely humbled that it happened to me, but it was a goal of mine from the day i raised my right hand to defend this country and give my life if thats what needs to happen. So for those of you that dont know i got selected for promotion to Gunnery Sergeant. I am being given the opportunity to walk in the shoes of the following individuals that i have had the honor of serving under and who have made an impact on my career and truly made me who i am today in the Corps. Jason Naptown Henry Dema D Lege Greg Popejoy Reese Cobb Jason Selby David Peacock You gentlemen are the ones that tore me down when needed but took the time to build me back up. I have you to thank for instilling those traits in me and i will do what i have to do to fill those shoes as a GySgt of Marines. To all of the Marines that have served under me or beside me along the way, whether or not you are still in or doing great things on the outside you are the reason i do what i do you are the reason i was successful and i thank you all! I know there are more and if i have not tagged you i apologize SEMPER FIDELIS
