On average I read over 12 books per year; from fiction to reality; from politics to murder, from richness to poverty, from religion to atheism, from love and betrayal..I learn something from all of them. Contrast this with the academic route; I felt brainwashed by this academic system that force feeds the students the type of literature to read and learn from ...One embarks on a higher level academic route because they have a dream to fulfill; not just to have a certificate or degree. Thus I found out that none of those academic books taught me anything that I required to fulfill my dream; Here is a man who has read them all and yet his humility has taken him back to where he was before he embarked on the capitalist tailored academic route! I hold a PhD in Economic History & Development Sociology, MA Economic History & Development Studies, BA Hons, Economic History, Certificate Police Studies, Certificate Marketing & Public Relations, etc etc) and my highest qualification is my love for Africa and commitment to her sustainable development ....
